Molcasalsa Mexican Food in Fullerton serves up straightforward, no-frills Mexican fare best suited for late-night cravings and quick bites. Located right on E Imperial Hwy, this spot lives up to the convenience local night owls and shift workers need – it's open 24 hours, making it a reliable go-to whenever hunger strikes, day or night.

The atmosphere leans heavily into casual and functional rather than upscale or cozy. Expect a fast food vibe with efficient service that understands its crowd: hungry patrons looking for solid, satisfying flavors more than a leisurely dining experience. There’s a small dine-in area, but many customers grab their food to go or use the drive-thru whenever possible.

Menu highlights like the Carne Asada Burrito, Carnitas Taco, and Super Fries have earned repeat visits from locals. Bold flavors come through in items like the Adobada Taco and the steak-centered plates, with salsas that range from mild to spicy (though the green salsa might underwhelm if you favor heat). Portions are generous, which fits the punchy, filling nature of their dishes. The variety of tacos—from shrimp and fish to chicken and beef—caters well to those wanting a quick taco fix.

Molcasalsa is not about elaborate plating or haute cuisine; it's about convenience, late-night availability, and hitting the spot with Americanized Mexican comfort food that satisfies hunger fast. Those who appreciate messy, flavorful eats after a late shift, a night out, or even a hospital run will find consistent value here. The staff’s willingness to accommodate, such as bringing food out to vehicles too large for the drive-thru, speaks to a practical, customer-friendly approach.

In summary, this is the kind of place you drop by when you want something easy, tasty, and available around the clock. It’s not the backdrop for a romantic dinner, nor a place to linger for hours, but it's a dependable late-night stop for locals and visitors craving simple Mexican fast food with solid flavors and good portion sizes.

Picked up one of my regular clients from St. Jude ER, and we were both hungry, so we decided to grab a bite. It was past 10 pm but not a big deal because they're open 24 hours. My NEMT Van is a Ford Transit 150WB. It's too long to fit in their drive-through, so the nice lady at the counter took our order and brought it to our van. Great customer service. Carne asada burrito was great. I enjoyed it. My client loved it. It's definitely one of my new late night food places to go.

My go to is 1 beef 1 chicken taco & they gotta be the crunchy ones. Since they're open 24/7 this is a go to spot in any time that you are in need of some quick Mexican food. I also do purchase a burrito with ham egg and cheese add potato to it aka known as " papas " . Extra red sauce i like spicy so get the red sauce. Personally I feel the green is not spicy enough for me but it's still good. I wanted super late at night or super early in the morning and nothing's open you can always count on them GRACIAS

I got their adobado taco for $4.41 and it was pretty darn good. Lots of meat and fresh salsa. I didn't like the watery sauce but the sauce flavor and spiciness was good. I would go back again for sure and try their other items.

Why 4 stars? Because this place knows exactly what it is. Molca Salsa is a solid late night junk food hero. It is open when you need it, it hits the spot, and it is actually good. Is it going to impress a date? No. Is it going to become your favorite spot or something you brag about? Also no. But if it is after the club, you are starving, and you want something tasty, messy, and full of regret, congratulations. You made it. This is comfort food with zero judgment. Sometimes that is exactly the assignment.
